To be a stouthearted man (*English translation follows)

“…έ, και να’ χα τα νιάτα σου! Θάλασσα, γυναίκα, κρασί, δουλειά μπόλικη! Να πέφτεις όπου να’ ναι, με τα μούτρα! Να πέφτεις με τα μούτρα στη δουλειά, στο κρασί, στον έρωτα και να μη φοβάσαι το Θεό, μήτε το διάολο. Αυτό θα πει παλικάρι!”

“…if only I had your youth! Sea, woman, wine, and a lot of work! To dive into everything, head first! To dive head first into work, into wine, into love and have no fear of God, nor devil. This is what it means to be a stouthearted man!”
